Diesel System Services, is offering completely remanufactured engine electronic control modules (ECM) for Dodge Cummins 5.9 liter ISB engines. These ECM's are completely remanufactured, shock/vibration and temperature (hot and cold) tested to simulate actual engine mounted conditions! They also come pre programmed with the correct software calibration for the VIN# and engine serial number you provide us. These ECM's are of better quality then what you would find at your Dodge/Cummins dealership and well under half the price! These are not repair the one capacitor that went bad leaving the rest of the of the high milage and high time waiting to fail parts, in there. These are not "junkyard' take outs, that have been sand blasted, aerosol overhauled, slap a sticker on it, and call it a remanufactured ECM!
These ECM's come with a one year unlimited mile warranty.
Before placing your order please contact us first. Let's go over your situation or problems that you are having! Many times its not a ECM problem. There are things that need to be troubleshooted, inspected and verified before condemning the engine ECM. Remember just like any other computer "junk in is junk out," when it comes to engine ECM's. For example, if your Batteries or your battery terminals are in poor condition and battery voltages are too low, this can cause all kinds of anomalies and malfunctions to occur from your ECM. This will result in a ECM miss diagnoses.

When it comes to troubleshooting a failed ECM, everything else in the electrical system needs to be checked and verified before condemning the ECM.

Please note there is a $300.00 core charge that will be refunded once we receive inspect and verify the correct core has been returned. Or you can send us your old ECM core in first and we will waive the core charge.
When ordering a Remanufactured ECM from us we will need the vehicle identification number or VIN# the engine serial number and ECM part#. The engine 8 digit serial # is located on the engine data tag located on the side of the valve cover (see pics). The engine 8 digit serial number or ESN is also located on the ECM's metal data tag along with the engine ECM 7 digit part # or P/N (see pics). Also if the data tag is missing there is a sticker on the back of the ECM with this needed information as well. ***Note; Injectors have a 6 digit alphanumeric code also know as the "trim code" at the top each injector solenoid area (see pic). If communication with the ecm is still possible, using a scan tool try to retrieve the trim codes from the ecm for each injector cylinder number. Example; Cylinder #1, trim code 6PSAAG. Cylinder #2, trim code OMF1AG etc.
